I'd like to open a local account with Scottrade----I asked the Manager if I could trade Rydex NTF funds frequently without a transaction fee. He said that I couldn't. Does anybody use Scottrade for trading NTF funds--and is this true---you can't trade NTF funds frequently without a charge? Doesn't make sense to me---Rydex funds are for traders!!! Thanks for any response!

Just go to the Scottrade web suite and click on mutual fund....

If you know you will trade Rydex funds frequently, open an account directly with Rydex. Scottrade and other discount brokerages may place their own limitations on frequency of trades. Scottrade makes a lot of mistakes, so watch yourself. Search Elitetrader for reviews of Scottrade and other brokerage firms.
